Irish trio Rowan have unleashed a gritty new indie single in the form of ‘One Of These Days’. Thumping drums beat below the bright treble of the band’s electric guitars for the majority of the track, but the band bring things right down for the sweet, gentle bridge that sees Dylan Howes’ lead vocal interjected with subtle guitar melodies. Seconds later, the subtlety is replaced by an incredibly impressive guitar solo. On the music that comes with the track, the band explain: “One person's normality is another person's insanity. The video is a comment on how we perceive the outsiders of society, and how isolated they can be because of the collective view of them.” The Everybody Talks EP drops on July 23^rd. -Dan Peeke
